They detect objects without physical contact, thereby eliminating the risk of damage to sensing objects and ensuring extended sensor service life.
- Eaton 80 Series photoelectric sensor switch bodies are equipped with 9 sensor heads, 3 logic modules and 7 control base units to customise the sensor according to the application. They come included with LED indicators providing easy visual feedback about the sensor's performance.
Working Mechanism
- These photoelectric sensors utilise a light-emitting diode (LED) and a photodetector to transmit and receive a light beam.
- The LED emits a beam of light which illuminates the photodetector located on the opposite side of the sensing area.
- When an object blocks the light beam in the sensing area, the photodetector cannot detect light.
