Altronix NetWay4ESK midspan injector kit includes a NetWay4ES 4-Port PoE/PoE+ switch and NetWay1D midspan injector to provide power & ethernet connection to PoE approved connected devices (cameras / edge devices). This midspan injector kit is capable of powering connected devices or cameras up to 100 metres from the unit. The NetWay4ES is a 4-port managed PoE/PoE+ switch ideal for installation at the IDF (Intermediate Distribution Frame) and offers system expansion by accommodating up to 4 IP devices or cameras over a single CAT-5 or higher structured cable. Altronix NetWay4ESK midspan injector kit provides a maximum power of 60W over ethernet at 10 / 100 Mbps speed, and allows auto detection & protection of legacy non-PoE cameras & other devices with low voltage connection, thereby protecting sensitive devices from high power damage. It also facilitates shutdown of spring terminals manually and is equipped with 3 wire grounded line detachable cord for added safety. Altronix NetWay4ESK midspan injector kit comes equipped with LED indicators to show the IP link status and operates at relative humidity of 85% (+/- 5%). It allows operation at altitudes ranging between - 304.8 & 2000 m. The NetWay4ES PoE/PoE+ switch can be operated from - 40 C to 75 degrees Celcius at 60W, while the NetWay1D midspan injector is capable of being operated from - 30 to 50 degrees C & - 30 to 40 degrees C at 30W & 60W, respectively.

Installation:

• Fix rubber pads to NetWay1E for shelf installation and plug the grounded AC line cord into the IEC 320 connector of the NetWay1E unit. Now plug the unit into a reliable earth grounded socket while using multiple units. Ensure that the sum of the individual nameplate ratings must not exceed the supply circuit rating.
• Connect the structured cable from the UL listed video server or ethernet switch to RJ45 jack marked [IN] on NetWay1E.
• PoE ON LED illuminates to indicate that PoE device is turned On. Now connect a device which will deliver a low voltage trigger input to marked terminals [--- PoE Shutdown +].
• When voltage is applied, the PoE output drops to zero volts and when the voltage is removed from thePoE shutdown terminals, the PoE output will deliver power to PoE compliant devices (normal condition).
