WESTWARD Micrometers

Outside micrometersare used to measure thickness or outer diameter of an object. These outside micrometers feature mechanical, digital or electronic displays. They have carbide, high carbon steel or stainless steel construction for strength, durability and abrasion resistance.

These Starrett outside micrometers have a built-in, rotating analogue digit counter for measuring thousandths of an inch (0.001 inches) and an extremely hard & stable, single-piece spindle with a vernier scale for measuring ten-thousandths of an inch (0.0001 inches). They are equipped with micro-lapped carbide measuring faces (both anvil & spindle) for precise measurements, even after long periods of use.
