A.
- Take swivel casters and attach them to the front extension legs and rear extension legs using washers and bolts.
- Place the rear extension leg and front extension legs inside the base frame with the casters facing down.
- Secure them with bolts in the frame and tighten the bolts.
- Position the post on the base frame. Place struts on each side of the post at the top and secure them with bolts and nuts. Do not tighten yet.
- Position the bottom of the support on the inside of the base frame and secure it with bolts and nuts.
- Attach the base bracket to the hydraulic unit using bolts and nuts.
- Secure the hydraulic unit assembly onto the post.
- Place the boom on top of the post. Pump the ram using the handle until the ram is approximately 2 inches above the top.
- Position the front mounting bracket on the boom, on top of the ram and secure it with a bolt and nut.
- Slide the boom extension inside the boom, ensuring that the slot for the chain & hook assembly faces downwards.
- Slide the chain and hook through the slot in the lower front of the boom extension and secure it.

- Turn the release valve anticlockwise two full turns.
- Pump hydraulic unit about six full strokes.
- Close the release valve and continue pumping until the boom reaches several feet.
- Open the release valve and gradually lower the boom.
