Val-Matic 5806RN plug valve features smooth streamlined contouring to allow smooth passage of large solids and prevent clogging of the system. This device is employed in applications, including vertical up-and-down flow systems, irrigation, desalination, wastewater treatment facilities, abrasive slurries and corrosive chemicals.
Features:
- Val-Matic 5806RN comes with Grit-Guard seals to stop the grit and media from getting to the packing and bearings, reducing wear or plug lock up.
- Its shaft seals have packing overload protection (POP) to keep the packing material from being overtightened, increasing packing life.
- This plug valve uses a moulded plug that is completely encapsulated to reduce corrosion and wear in highly abrasive applications and a frictional collar to hold the plug in place.
- It has a combination of upper and lower thrust bearings made of PTFE and stainless steel to make actuation simple and reduce wear.
- This unit has replaceable and field-adjustable V-type packing and is lever-operated.
