Oetiker 10100019 clamp is made from anti-corrosive, zinc-plated steel to offer an increased clamping range as compared to other standard ear clamps. It is ideal for low-pressure applications in the automobile, heating & ventilation, mining, agriculture and plumbing industries. It is compatible with plastic tubing, electrical cables and rubber & welding hoses.
Features:
- Oetiker 10100019 clamp has a thin wall insert ring, a double-ear design and an oval protrusion for additional gripping.
- It provides constant pressure around the hose, which makes it suitable for handling thermal and vibrational expansion or contraction.
- This clamp has zinc-plated steel construction to ensure anti-corrosive performance.
- The one-piece configuration of Oetiker 10100019 ear clamp guarantees a positive and tamper-resistant seal.
- It is configured with deburred edges to prevent damage to the hose.
- The clamp is flexible enough to deliver a degree of elasticity owing to thermal expansion or vibration, thereby accommodating changes in the size of the components or parts being joined.
- The visible deformation of Oetiker 10100019 ear clamp provides evidence of its proper closure.
Compatible Accessories:
- Oetiker Jaw Pincer: These standard jaw pincers are used to install ear clamps and are equipped with large, insulated handle grips for user comfort & protection against electrical hazards. They are made of forged steel to deliver high impact strength, durability and resistance from harsh industrial abuse.
- Oetiker HMK 01 / S01: These manual ear clamp pincer tools have clamping jaws configured straight on the pliers (HMK 01) or on the side of the pliers (HMK S01), making them easy to use within confined places.
- Oetiker HO 3000 ME: These pneumatic ear clamp pincers feature a pistol grip and squeezable closing force of 3000 N.
- Oetiker CP 01: These cordless clamp pincers offer effortless installation and ensure excellent manoeuvrability, along with high accuracy in tight spaces.
- Oetiker HO 3000 EL & HO 4000 EL: These electronically controlled pincers provide uniform clamping closure.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Is it better to crimp or clamp PEX?
A. For a quick, stationary and secure connection, crimp tools are better than PEX clamps. But if you require flexibility, opt for PEX clamps.
Q. How to remove an Oetiker clamp?
A. Customers can use tools, such as a side / bull nose cutter, to remove the interlock & peel back the clamps from hoses. It is not recommended to use rotating cutters as they can cause damage to the hose while cutting the clamp.
Q. How do you measure ear clamps?
A. - Mount the hose on the pipe or fitting (which expands the hose).
- Measure the OD (outside diameter) of the hose.
- Select a clamp which can accommodate that given diameter in the middle of its range (approximately).
Q. What is the difference between single ear and double ear clamps?
A. Double ear clamps offer increased clamping force, whereas single ear clamps allow quick and easy installation & removal.
