A. The optional heated / insulated removable outer jacket can be retrofitted into the standard STD-40K / 45G safety shower unit, offering protection from frost or direct sunlight.
Q. How can I use the safety shower?
A. Users can activate the shower by pulling the hand lever, while the eye wash activates by lifting the lid.
Q. Why is the eye / face wash unit covered?
A. The eye / face wash station is equipped with an ABS cover that protects the bowl and diffusers from dust and debris.
Q. How to refill the unit?
A.
- Before refilling the unit, check the air pressure. (This must be done when the cylinder is empty).
- To refill, connect the mains water supply hose to the quick-release hose adapter that comes attached to the unit.
- Once connected, turn the water supply on.
- Open the inlet valve and leave for about 20 minutes or until the water stops flowing.
- When the unit is full, close the inlet valve and disconnect the hose adapter.
- The unit is now ready for use.
