Q. How to install this Hartell pump?
A.
- Position and hold the motor with the shaft facing up.
- Place one washer over each motor stud.
- Slide the slinger down the motor shaft to about 1/2-inch from the motor.
- Place bracket (if used) over motor studs.
- Place the housing over motor studs and note the orientation of discharge.
- Place one washer over each motor stud.
- Screw the thumb nuts onto the motor studs. Do not tighten.
- Center the motor shaft in the housing centre hole and tighten the thumb nuts.
- Slide the impeller onto the motor shaft.
- Push and hold down the impeller. Screw the impeller nut into the motor shaft until it touches the impeller.
