Eaton FDC3100 C Series circuit breaker protects connected receptacles, branch circuits, external motors and HVACs from excess current (overloads) or short circuits. This complete breaker having a completely moulded case has a current rating of 100A and a voltage rating of 600VAC / 250VDC.

- Eaton FDC3100 circuit breaker has load-side lug terminals for quick installation of circuit wires.
- This 3-pole complete breaker is equipped with fixed thermal & fixed magnetic contacts for long-time and instantaneous tripping performance using its high-speed "blow-open" action.
- It has bolt-on mounting style for easy & secure installation on panels.
- This 50 / 60 Hz breaker unit has an F-frame for housing current-carrying parts, trip devices & mechanisms inside it, offering reverse-feed capability.
- The unit's handle actuator has three positions (ON, OFF and trip) for easy identification of the breaker's status.

A.
- Keep the area around the breaker clean by using an enclosure. Remove dust, dirt, grease, moisture or foreign contaminants from the unit.
- Check that the unit's mechanical linkages like the actuator are free to move by switching the unit ON & OFF several times.
- Press the push-to-trip button, if available, at the bottom side of the unit to mechanically test the circuit breaker.
- Inspect the unit of any cracks, chipping, discolouration or any sign of overheating. Tighten the terminals & connectors. Check the mounting hardware.
- Remove any safety hazards near the circuit breaker area.
