Eaton EGE3020FFG moulded case circuit breaker prevents electrical fires caused by arc faults and overloading. The unit has a patented contact design featuring high-speed blow-open action for maximum protection against potential damage.
Features:
- It features a thermal-magnetic trip for avoiding nuisance tripping on mild overloads up to 20A, but reacting instantly when exposed to severe faults.
- It has a three-pole design with interrupting ratings of 35kA at 240VAC, 25kA at 480VAC and 18kA at 600Y / 347VAC.
- This MCCB comes equipped with a handle displaying ON/OFF indication and amperage rating.
- It comes with line and load terminals for quick installation on panelboards, switchboards and busways.

Q. How is the tripping status indicated?
A. This moulded case circuit breaker features a trip flag to indicate the TRIPPED and OFF status of the breaker.
Q. Are there any accessories available with this Eaton moulded case circuit breaker?
A.
- It accommodates internal accessories like auxiliary switches, alarm switches, shunt trips and Undervoltage release (UVR) units.
- It is compatible with external accessories like terminals, terminal shields, interphase barriers, locking devices, walking beam interlocks and plug-in adapters.
Q. What is the purpose of a toggle handle?
A. When there is a surge of overcurrent, short circuit, shunt or undervoltage release, the toggle handle snaps into the TRIPPED position if the breaker is tripped. After the tripped action, the toggle handle can be brought back to the OFF position (RESET) to restore the current.
