Its direct-drive power train works in combination with a heavy-duty capacitor motor for operating under load without slowing down.

- Dayton 49G990 belt & disc sander is equipped with a 6 x 48-inch sanding belt and a 9-inch sanding disc.
- The unit uses a 1 hp motor that is operated at 120 / 240VAC & 9 / 4.5A power.
- Both belt & disc include a tilting work table which is slotted for accepting a mitre gauge.
- It is equipped with a front-mounted On / Off switch for quick control and a dust collection port for long-term operation.
- Fully machined & balanced disc on this sanding machine produces fewer vibrations and increases grinding & finishing performance.
- The sanding belt can be changed / adjusted easily & quickly and operated in both horizontal & vertical positions for greater operator convenience.
