Molded Case Circuit Breakers: HGL Series
Square D HGL Series circuit breakers are designed to protect electrical equipment from damages caused by short circuits and overload occurrences. These units come equipped with a thermal-magnetic trip, calibrated at 40 degrees C ( ambient temperature), allowing both instantaneous and long-time current limiting functions. The H-frame design of these breakers offers interrupt capacities of 65kA @ 240 VAC, 35kA @ 480 VAC and 18kA @ 600 VAC. These breakers feature unit mounting (lug-lug) construction for reducing the installation and maintenance downtime and can accommodate aluminium or copper wires with sizes ranging from 14 to 3 AWG.
