Muffler, Fnpt
Solberg mufflers are used for minimising high-frequency noises, up to 30 dB, generated from regenerative blowers in fuel cell applications. These units feature a sound-absorbent medium which reduces noise velocity by 5dBA while providing a minimal pressure drop, handling discrete high-frequency noise (caused by rotating impellers) and broadband noise (caused by turbulence in inlet / discharge jet mixing).
