Norton Abrasives flap discs feature a blend of ceramic and zirconia alumina abrasives with a self-sharpening grit best suited for most metal surfaces (stainless steel). These flap discs have a Type 29 reversed saucer shape for aggressive stock removal. They are further equipped with a trimmable and flexible plastic back plate which wears away as the flap disc grinds.
