What are the uses of automatic thermal protectors?
Thermal protector is a device sensitive to increased motor temperature and protects the motor against overheating due to overload or failure to start. These units are available with either manual or automatic reset.

A single-speed motor has a constant speed rating at which it runs when supplied with the pre-determined voltage and frequency. A multi-speed motor runs at more than one speed (depending on how the motor has been connected to the supply).
