CPE Series Counting Scales
Kern & Sohn CPE Series counting scales are designed to accurately count the small parts or items and then calculate the total based on the known weight of each item. These battery-operated bench scales are lightweight in design, allowing easy use and portability at several locations, such as production, warehouse or shipping. They feature three displays to indicate the weight, reference weight and total piece count, simultaneously. These units further utilise a check weighing technique that involves weighing items and comparing weight to a predefined target or tolerance range. If an object falls within a designed range, the system may provide an optical signal (like a green LED) or an acoustic signal (a beep or sound) to indicate the user. This facility is generally applicable for portioning, dosing and sorting, where items need to meet specific weight criteria. They are further incorporated with an RS-232 interface to connect a printer with the system for different applications like generating labels for products or packaging.
