Dayton general purpose open drip-proof motors are ideal for non-hazardous applications with pumps, machine tools & ventilation equipment. These motors are equipped with ball bearings for low rotational friction and feature frames made of steel / rolled steel / cast iron for structural rigidity & corrosion resistance. They allow face / cradle / base mounting for easy installation and deliver speeds up to 3555 rpm. These motors are capable of being operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degrees C and are available in 1 & 3 phase configurations.

AC motors, such as servo motors, washdown motors, fire pump motors and air compressor motors, have a break down torque varying up to 1030 lb-ft and are offered in rigid, no mount and bracket mount base types. For industrial environments, we offer a wide range of washdown motors that are designed for use in places with regular exposure to moisture, chemicals and humidity. The washdown motor is offered in DP, TEFC, TEAO and TENV enclosing options that are engineered for protection against dust and corrosion.
