M000 Series 5A Split Core Current Transformers

Eaton M000 Series 5A split core current transformers are engineered for electronic metering applications. Their primary purpose is to measure the electrical current flowing through primary conductors without disconnecting wires or interrupting the circuit being monitored. They feature a split-core design that allows easy installation by clamping the transformer around the conductor, making them a convenient solution for energy management applications. These transformers have a 5A output current to ensure that the secondary current produced by the transformer is suitable for electronic metering and instrumentation systems. They can be operated at voltages up to 600V and are available in primary current ratings ranging from 400 to 2000A.
