BWorking Mechanism
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) convert the supplied alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) and then change the DC back into AC power at a different frequency by adjusting the switching rate of a connected inverter.
- Users can increase the frequency of the VFD to increase the speed of the motor and decrease the frequency to reduce the motor's speed.
