Eaton FDCE Series electronic MCCBs are used in data centres, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants, hotels and shopping centres to protect electrical circuits from overloads, short circuits and faults by interrupting the flow of electricity.
Working Mechanism
- The electronic LSG trip unit continuously monitors the current passing through the circuit breaker.
- If the current exceeds the preset long-time, short-time, instantaneous or ground fault pickup thresholds, the trip unit will trip the circuit breaker.
- Once tripped, the trip unit provides diagnostic information about the fault detected and the magnitude of the current.
