Working Mechanism

Operating Mechanism:
- The operating mechanism is used to open or close the switch contacts. It features a handle that is used to manually operate the switch, along with a set of linkages and springs that helps translate the motion of the handle into the movement of the contacts.
- The handle can be used to rotate or move to the on or off position.
Tripping Mechanism:
- The tripping mechanism of the switch consists of a bimetallic strip that is designed to bend when exposed to excessive heat or current.
- This helps to automatically trip the switch in the event of an overcurrent or short circuit condition.
- It also includes a trip bar, which is connected to the bimetallic strip and moves the operating mechanism to the off position when the strip is activated.
