EATON E51 Series NEMA Limit Switch Photoelectric Sensors
Eaton E51 Series NEMA limit switch photoelectric sensors are designed to detect the presence or absence of an object in a specified area. These sensors consist of a light source (emitter), a photodetector (receiver) and an electronic control unit. They are available in thru-beam, polarised refl...ex, reflex, diffuse reflective & fibre optic sensing modes for solving various sensing applications. Read more

Working Mechanism
- The light source emits a beam of light, and is directed towards the photodetector.
- When an object enters the sensing area and interrupts the beam of light, the photodetector sends a signal to the electronic control unit, which activates the switch to change its state.
- The control unit processes the signals from the photodetector and uses them to control the switch, which can be configured for a normally open or normally closed operation.
Features
- They come with a selector switch for operating in light or dark.
- These sensors are equipped with logic modules for added control.
- They feature rugged construction to withstand extreme industrial environments.
- These sensor heads can be rotated to any of the four positions and can be interchanged with E51 proximity sensors.
- They further feature bifurcated engagement prongs for a secure electrical connection when plugged into receptacle stabs.
