Frequently Asked Questions

How to assemble the control wire terminal in the circuit breaker?

  • Remove 5/16 inch long collar mounting screw.
  • Insert terminal between the bottom of the conductor and collar.
  • Insert 3/8 inch long replacement screw through the collar, terminal and conductor.
  • Now, tighten the screw into the nut, creating a secure connection.
  • Do not remove the control wire terminal without reinstalling the screw as this might cause the cable to loosen up and overheat.

What is a moulded case circuit breaker?

A moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB) is a type of electrical protection device that protects the circuit from damage due to overloading or short circuits. It features a thermal or magnetic trip mechanism that detects the fault condition and activates the breaker to open the contacts, thereby interrupting the flow.
