DC Gearmotors, Permanent Magnet Motor Design
Dayton DC gearmotors use DC power source to provide high torque and variable speed control, especially where space & power are limited. These units feature parallel shaft orientation to choose the ratio & torque required for specific operations, such as conveyor systems, wheel chairs, hospital beds, table lifts and power seats. They consist of a motor, gear and bearings to smoothly change the direction at low speeds and handle sudden stops, without causing wear to the moving parts. These gearmotors also feature TENV (totally enclosed non-ventilated) enclosures to restrict circulation of outside air and contaminants and can be easily mounted in small spaces in multiple positions. Choose from a wide range of these DC gearmotors, available in 1/8, 1/4 and 1/10 hp motor power ratings.
