Dayton DC gearmotors, a combination of a motor and a gearbox, are used to reduce the speed and increase the torque output. These motors come in multiple voltage variants and support a maximum torque of 1112 in.-lb, which is ideal for variable-speed applications such as power seats, windshield wipers and wheelchairs.
