- The display provides constant visualisation of the speed and temperature while a safety LED indicates when the top plate is above 50 deg.C.

How to calibrate these units for temperature?
- Start the calibration procedure by using calibrated thermometer ranging up to 300 degrees C.
- Place the beaker or flask containing the sample in the centre of the hot plate stirrer.
- Operate the hot plate without using the magnetic stirrer.
- Set the temperature of the hot plate by temperature regulator.
- Dip the calibrated thermometer at one side of the beaker.
- Record both the control panel temperature display and calibrated thermometer temperature.
- Repeat the procedure at different temperatures.
