B1 Series, Inverted Bucket Steam Traps

Bell & Gossett B1 Series inverted bucket steam traps are integral components in steam systems and feature an ingenious inverted bucket design that opens when condensate needs discharge and closes to prevent steam escape. This mechanism enhances energy efficiency, reduces water hammer and extends equipment life. By maintaining optimal steam-to-condensate ratios, these traps ensure system performance, prevent damage and minimise downtime. They feature cast iron bodies for durability and internal components made of stainless steel for corrosion resistance, maintaining trap performance over time. These steam traps have removable covers for easy in-line service for reducing maintenance downtime. They are available in variants with maximum operating pressures of 30, 75, 125, 180 and 250 psi.
