Centrifugal Pumps
Centrifugal pumps are mechanical devices that transport fluids by converting rotational energy into kinetic energy. They consist of an impeller, which rotates within a casing, creating a centrifugal force that propels the fluid outward. This action increases the fluid's velocity, generating a pressure differential that moves the fluid through the pump and into the piping system. Centrifugal pumps are widely used in water supply, irrigation, wastewater management, chemical processing and HVAC systems. They are known for their simplicity, efficiency and ability to handle a wide range of flow rates and pressures. Centrifugal pumps are available in different configurations, including single-stage and multi-stage designs, to suit specific fluid handling requirements.
