DAYTON -

Washdown Motors

Dayton washdown motors are ideal for food packaging and processing plants, wet & humid environments and industries where machines need cleaning & hosing. These motors are totally enclosed to protect internal components from dust and moisture. The shafts of Dayton washdown motors are made up of standard / 303 / 300 Series stainless steel to ensure resistance against scratches and corrosion. These motors are equipped with ball bearings for reducing friction and are capable of being operated up to an ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Choose from a wide range of Dayton washdown motors, available in capacitor-start, permanent split capacitor and 3 phase motor designs on Raptor Supplies.

Washdown Motors

Washdown motors are commonly used on conveyors in food packaging and processing industries, wet and humid environments or where regular machine cleaning is required. These washdown motors feature a totally enclosed design which protects internal components from dust and airborne contaminants. Speed of these motors ranges between 1075 and 3515 rpm. Baldor motors are designed for applications in residential HVAC systems, pumps and farm equipment. These motors are coated with Exxon Polyrex EM grease to provide resistance to rust & washout and for higher shear stability. Dayton washdown motors can be operated up to an ambient temperature of 40 degrees C to sustain harsh environmental conditions and are equipped with ball bearings for enhancing motor performance by reducing friction.
