Shutter Motors

Shutter motors facilitate proper ventilation and relieve the starting loads on fan motors. Raptor Supplies offers shutter motors, actuator motors, motor packs and pull chain kits from brands like Airmaster Fan and Dayton. Shutter motors motorise the closing & opening of backdraft dampers, exhaust shutters and electric louvers. They are available in single & double panel wall shutters that can be vertically mounted with ease and can operate at voltages up to 460V.

Working Mechanism

  • When the motor receives an electrical signal, it activates an internal gearbox that turns a drive shaft, which in turn rotates a series of gears to move the shutter.
  • The motor's speed and direction can be controlled by a remote control or a switch that sends signals to the motor's control system.

Features

Airmaster Fan Shutter Motors:

  • These units are ideal for use with single-panel wall shutters to motorise the opening and closing of various shutters.
  • They come with installation hardware for quick installation.

Dayton Shutter Motors:

  • These shutter motors can be mounted in a vertical position to relieve starting load on the fan motor.
  • They have 6-inch leads with junction boxes for easy installation.
