They feature a round profile with a smooth outer surface for applications in areas that can be easily seen.

  • Round standoffs generally have a threaded body for connecting easily to components.
  • Most standoffs come with female threading on both ends to act similarly to threaded spacers and attach to male threaded fasteners or components like screws / bolts from both sides.
  • Male standoffs or male-male standoffs have two threaded protrusions on their ends for screwing into a hole.
