ULTEM Plastic Sheets Film And Flat Stock
PEI Sheet Stock
Ultem 1000 PEI sheets are designed to provide a building surface for 3D printer with heated or unheated print beds. These high-performance Ultem sheets offer exceptional flame, heat or chemical resistance and UV stability, and are also able to maintain consistent dielectric properties over a wide range of frequencies. They provide support for both ABS and PLA prints and do not require any surface preparation, like applying special solutions or tapes before each print job. However, it is often recommended to wipe down the sheet with isopropyl alcohol for cleaning the surface and removing fingerprints from the sheet. These plastic sheets can either be placed on top of the existing bed platform by using binding or alligator clips or by directly applying 3M 468MP adhesives. They can operate effectively under temperatures ranging from -20 to 340 degrees Fahrenheit, and come with a blue protective film on each side for added protection.
