Norton Abrasives flap discs, with zirconia alumina abrasives, are designed to work with a right-angle grinder and are angled to provide maximum contact with the workpiece. They feature a trimmable flexible blue plastic backing plate which scrapes out with grinding to permit complete use of the disc.
