- Justrite flammable cabinets come feature heavy-duty 18-gauge (1-mm) double-wall steel construction with 1-1/2 inch (38-mm) of insulating air space.
- They have easy-close, self-latching doors and a patented U-Loc handle that does not require manual rotation to engage a three-point latch.
- They further have patented SpillSlope galvanized steel shelves that direct spills to the bottom and back of a leak proof sump and come with a long-lasting lead-free epoxy/polyester powder-coat finish, providing superior chemical resistance.
- Justrite flammable cabinets also come with self-closing models that close and latch automatically when a fusible link melts at 165 Degrees F under fire situations.
- Selected models (Justrite 860002 Emergency Cabinet) come with an installed electrical pass-through connection. It has an external 9-foot power cord, and 10 amp rated, 6-outlet power strip with 38-inch cord for charging flashlights, walkie-talkies etc. inside the cabinet.

There aren't any rules that say cabinets are required to be a specific colour. Most of the installations use the following best management practices regards to colour: yellow: flammable liquids. Gray or white: waste or outdoor lockers. Red: paints, inks and other combustible liquids.
Why are flammable cabinets special?
Flammable cabinets are designed to secure flammable contents for a certain period during fire conditions. It provides extra time for evacuation and offers emergency responders more time to manage the fire before it gets dangerous.
Can flammable cabinets be drilled?
No, you cannot drill into the cabinet, as it will hamper the double-wall design, fire protection feature and FM approval.

- Size And Type Of Container: Determine if you are storing safety cans, 30 and 55-gallon drums, smaller paint cans, 1 quart (4-L) bottles, aerosols, dispenser cans or other containers.
