These fans feature direct driven motors that are directly connected to the fan through shafts or axles for increasing energy efficiency and class B insulated, enclosed air-over motor enclosures for withstanding temperatures up to 104 degrees F. They also feature automatic thermal protection to start or stop the fan operation according to permissible ambient temperatures for protecting the fan motors.
