Features

Mueller Streamline copper fittings are made of copper to enhance durability and corrosion resistance. They can withstand maximum stress up to 570 psi, without failure.
These lightweight copper tubing coils are thick-walled, making them ideal for fire sprinkling systems, extreme temperatures (ranging between 32 & 400 degrees Fahrenheit) and hydronic heating applications.
Type K pipes are ideal for connecting water mains and metres, as well as to form heavy-duty underground vacuum pump lines.

Working Mechanism

Once copper pipes are compressed or soldered with steel, they ensure excellent electrical contact. As a result, the iron corrodes in preference to the copper, acting as a sacrificial anode.
The copper provides an inert surface and enables cathodic oxygen-reduction reactions.
These pipes transfer liquids and are capable of withstanding extreme stresses, such as high pressure & temperature. The maximum melting point assists in maintaining pressure when the tubing is subjected to flames or at temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
