Working Mechanism
- Ceiling-mounted air conditioners draw warm air from the room through a grille.
- The warm air passes over evaporator coils filled with refrigerant.
- The refrigerant absorbs heat from the air and then cools it.
- A fan inside the unit blows the now-cooled air back into the room.
- The heated refrigerant flows to an outdoor unit, where it's compressed, causing it to release the absorbed heat.
- The heat dissipates into the outside air while the refrigerant returns to the liquid state.
- This cycle continues, maintaining a cool and comfortable indoor temperature.
