Swing-Flex check valve
Val-Matic replaces the conventional swing check valves at quenching stations with their Swing-Flex check valve having backflow actuator technology.
Val-Matic Swing-Flex check valves offer clog-resistant performance by smoothly maintaining an unobstructed 100 percent flow area, fine streamlined body contour and domed cover. Unlike a conventional check valve, they have no O-rings or packing, shafts, mechanical hinges, bearings or pivot pins to wear out. These Val-Matic units come with field-installed backflow actuators to protect against reverse flow of fluid in the main water supply lines, as well as feature stainless steel body with a disc made of Viton for structural rigidity even under high pressures. The equipped rubber lining in the unit provides anti-corrosive and anti-abrasive service.
