  • Duct Pressure Switches

These universal air pressure sensing switches are ideal for use with conditioned air filters, refrigeration coils or gas fired units. They feature field adjustable set points ranging from 0.10 to 10 in WC and a snap acting switch with 3 male, 90 deg quick connect terminals.

  • Electric Appliance Controls

Electric cooking control / round indicator lights are ideal for use with appliances requiring temperature protection, such as kitchen stoves, induction cookers and water heaters. They feature a manual reset and automatic operation combination facility for varying duty requirements and can handle temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Furnace Ignitors Controls

These ignition controls feature flame rectification with solid state logic & flame sensing to ensure proper working of an intermittent pilot ignition device. They are compatible with liquefied petroleum and natural gas, and can withstand burner firing rates up to 320000 BTUh.

  • Gas Appliance Controls

Robertshaw gas appliance controls include replacement accessories such as hot surface oven igniters, solenoid valves, incinerator pilots & thermostat kits for griddles / ovens, in addition to spark ignition modules that are suitable for use with the brand's various thermostats.

  • Gas Valves

Robertshaw LP / NG gas valves are designed for controlling the flow of gases, like oxygen, liquefied petroleum & natural gas. They are available in combination, fast / slow / standard opening and low capacity valve configurations, with inlet sizes ranging from 1/2 to 1 inch.

  • Heat Pump Reversing Valves
  • Line Voltage Thermostats
  • Low Voltage Thermostats
  • Pilot and Ignition Components

Robertshaw pilot & ignition systems or components facilitate igniting waste gases / off gases from offshore & onshore flares. They are used on natural gas systems. These systems also offer flame sensing devices to ensure automatic sequencing for igniting the waste gases.

  • Thermostat Accessories

Robertshaw thermostat accessories include temperature dials that are engineered to push up and down with the rise and fall of temperature, respectively. They feature plastic construction for structural rigidity and portability.

  • Refrigeration Controls

Robertshaw universal cold temperatures help in maintaining and regulating the pressures, temperatures and fan speeds for providing energy efficient freezer systems. They ensure temperature adjustments ranging from -5 degrees to 38 degrees Fahrenheit with the original control.

About Robertshaw

Robertshaw manufactures multi-purpose controls for washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers, ice makers and storage water heaters. These Robertshaw thermostat models are manufactured in compliance with UL, ISO, EN and CSA standards. The extensive Robertshaw thermostat catalogue includes pilot and ignition components, vibration sensors, Class 2 transformers and related accessories for applications in the HVAC/R & transportation industries. Robertshaw programmable thermostats are designed for heating and cooling control in commercial applications that allow adjusting the temperature according to a series of programmed settings. They give users more control by offering more energy efficient performance than Robertshaw non programmable thermostats (as the temperature automatically adjusts at the scheduled time). The brand's thermostat accessories, like fireplace remote controls and temperature dials, are suitable for upgrading decorative gas fireplaces. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of Robertshaw thermostats, furnace ignition, gas water heater controls and Class 2 transformers.

Things to Consider

Cross-Reference Alternatives

Robertshaw's MPNs (manufacturer's part numbers) cross individual references to the equivalent White-Rodgers model numbers. So, if you are looking for a competitor thermostat that is either out of stock or obsolete, chances are Raptor Supplies has the equivalent old Robertshaw thermostat available. Customers can also cross-reference most power controls using the last five digits of the model numbers.

Shipping

Robertshaw thermostat wiring catalogues are small & lightweight. They may require careful packaging as some products may get damaged while shipping. Hence, these Robertshaw thermostats are delivered by courier shipment and not by air freight.

Robertshaw Competitive Advantages

Robertshaw eST Technology

Robertshaw fulfilled the need for electric water heaters which can connect to electric utility's demand response network so that electricity usage can be optimised automatically. Robertshaw's eST technology is engineered for being backwards compatible in water heaters with current controls, as well as maintaining the construction of the units.

All-In-One System Streamlines

Managing multiple vendors for igniter, burner, gas pressure regulator, gas valve and thermostat components complicates the cooking process. Using an analytical & sophisticated approach, Robertshaw developed an innovative, all-in-one gas system with single sourced, direct spark ignition for simplified labour time and savings. This technology reduces field issues and offers drop in ready, leak tested performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to use an old Robertshaw thermostat?

  • Slide the system switch to either cold or hot position.
  • Press the programme button and hold it for 3 seconds.
  • Flashing at the top of the display, press the buttons to select the time (morning, day, evening & night mode) for the programme to start.
  • Use the up and down arrows to select the temperature.
  • Press the programmed 'a' button to move to the next programme.
  • Repeat the same steps for all programmes for weekdays.

What does system 2 mean on thermostat?

'System On 1' feature indicates when the cooling or heating stage is energised, whereas, 'System On +2' depicts when the second stage is energised.

How do I reset my Robertshaw thermostat?

To reset a Robertshaw thermostat, make use of a small object, such as a paperclip or a toothpick, and gently press the button situated inside a small hole on the front of the thermostat housing, labelled as 'reset'.

What is the lifespan of a home thermostat?

The lifespan of thermostats depends on the make, model and type of thermostat. They typically don't have a set lifespan for repair, maintenance or replacement, but a thermostat is generally expected to last at least 10 years.

What would cause a thermostat to stop working?

Incidents like frayed wires, loose connections and aged wires can cause thermostats to eventually lose connection to the heating system or AC, hence putting an end to its working.

How do I install a Robertshaw thermostat?

  • Place the thermostat approximately 5 feet above the floor, in an area with a good amount of air circulation for maintaining an average room temperature.
  • Avoid installation in situations where the thermostat can be affected by dead air spots, drafts, sunlight, hot or cold air ducts, concealed pipes, chimneys, appliances, and outside walls.
  • Install the sub-base by drilling 3/16 inch pilot holes in your desired location and use supplied anchors for drywall or plaster.
  • Provide power: For 24VAC power, connect the common side of the transformer to the C terminal on the thermostat sub-base. For battery power, insert the 2 supplied 'AA' type alkaline batteries into the battery compartment located in the rear housing of the thermostat. Make sure to position the Positive (+) and Negative (-) sides of the batteries correctly in the battery compartment.
  • Connect the wires accurately.
  • Attach the thermostat to the sub-base by carefully pushing the thermostat body against it, until it snaps in place.
  • Finally, insert a quick reference card into the slot on top of the thermostat.
