Check Valves and Backflow PreventersView all

  • Check and Foot Valves

Self-closing thermoplastic valves featuring no internal loose or sliding parts to eliminate chattering and leak-free seals for preventing the reverse-flow of acids, caustics & chlorine solutions. Require a min cracking pressure of 0.5 psi to open the diaphragm

  • Flow Control Check Valves

Equipped with an EPDM diaphragm capable of deforming under inlet pressure changes to regulate the flow rate and pressure of fluids through pipeline systems. Can operate in temperatures ranging from 40 degrees to 140 degrees F at a maximum pressure of 120 psi

  • Vacuum Breakers

Prevent the backward siphonage of corrosive fluids & protect structural damage caused during draining. Feature a self-sealing diaphragm to regulate the vacuum pressure fluctuations and hold the vacuum at the pre-set point. Available in pipe sizes ranging from 1/2 to 1 inch

Pressure and Temperature Control ValvesView all

  • Air and Vacuum Release Valves

Normally open valves used with vacuum breakers to eliminate pockets of air during system start-up. Feature a self-guiding poppet-seal design that doesn't deform under pressure and a true union nut which allows fast valve inspection / removal with minimal pipe breakdown

  • Pressure Regulators

Suitable for reducing the high inlet pressure of a gas / liquid to a controlled (pre-set) lower output pressure. Feature a PVC body for an anti-leak performance, rolling diaphagrams for pressure sensing & a Fail-Dry safety vent for alerting seal malfunctions. Available in 2 to 8 inch length dimensions

  • Relief Valves

Designed for relieving excess pressure from a closed piping system by diverting a part of the flow back to the reservoir through an auxiliary passage. Feature a PTFE diaphragm and a thermoplastic body for contaminant-free sealing. Available in 1/2, 3/4 and 1 inch sizes

Liquid Level Gauges and Sight IndicatorsView all

  • Gauge Guards

Protect and isolate pressure or vacuum instruments used with highly corrosive liquids and ultra-pure fluids. Feature a diaphragm for protection against system clogging & stainless-steel inserts preventing overtightening conditions. Available in PVC, CPVC, polypropylene & PVDF body variants

About Plast-o-matic

Plast-O-Matic's product line includes industry-grade plastic valves, regulators, solenoid valve coils and flow indicators. Ultra-Pure pressure regulators by Plast-O-Matic are suitable for reducing the high inlet pressure of a gas / liquid to a controlled (pre-set) lower output pressure. They feature PTFE or Kynar PVDF construction to ensure UV stability and abrasion & flame resistance. These regulators have a TFM convoluted diaphragm to provide maximum sensitivity without elastomers and can withstand inlet pressures up to 150 PSI. The brand's FC Series check valves are designed to maintain uniform flow, with inlet pressure fluctuations ranging from 15 to 120 PSI (accuracy of +/-15%). They deliver a maximum flow rate of 120 GPM and can be operated at temperatures ranging between 40 and 140 degrees F. Raptor Supplies is a trusted Plast-O-Matic distributor offering a wide range of Plast-O-Matic flow control valves, gauge guards and pulsation dampeners.

Plast-o-matic Competitive Advantages

Fail-Dry Vents

These patented Fail-Dry vents allow valves with a failed seal to operate until convenient maintenance can be planned. They use a vented chamber to divide two sealed valve portions. The operational chamber commonly houses a spring in a pressure valve, a spring / air chamber in a cutoff valve and a core tube in a solenoid valve. The primary seal (the one in contact with the liquid media) will degrade before the secondary seal as it is under pressure. These Fail-Dry vents help in tracing the amount of liquid leaking out and into the chamber when the primary seal starts to fail. The operative chamber is kept separate by the secondary seal, keeping it dry.
