PBC LINEAR

About Pbc Linear

PBC Linear's open and closed linear plain bearings feature a special Teflon compound for an oil-free operation and FrelonGOLD liner for reduced wear & friction. These self-lubricating PBC Linear bearings can be interchangeably used with linear ball bearings or bronze bushing and are capable of handling static loads of up to 7050 lb. The company also offers open and closed pillow block linear bearings featuring self-aligning housing to adjust the misalignment of shafts. While the open design of the bearings provides support for rails for maximum rigidity, the closed design reduces installation costs by using end-supported shafts.

Pbc Linear Competitive Advantages

Integral-V Technology

Integral-V Technology provides a cost-effective way for carrying heavy loads in linear guide systems at high velocity while preventing wear. They feature hardened steel inserts embedded directly into the aluminium structural frames for tight tolerances & superior linear straightness.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the operating temperature range for PBC Linear Simplicity products?

PBC Linear Simplicity products can operate in temperatures ranging from ?400 to 400 degrees F (-240 to 204 degrees C).

What is the Integral-V Technology's operating temperature?

PBC Linear's Integral-V Technology can handle temperatures between 14 & 176 degrees F (-10 & 80 degrees C).

What lubricants are recommended for PBC Linear's Frelon containing products?

PBC Linear's Frelon containing products use lubricants like lightweight petroleum-based oils, way-lube oils & 3-in-1 type oils. Lubrication increases the performance of a bearing.

How does a backlash affect a linear system?

Backlash refers to the play or slop amount in a linear motion system. PBC Linear offers a constant force technology nut which limits the amount of backlash in a screw-driven scenario. PBC Linear also offers several belt-driven systems that offer some advantages over screw-driven systems, but a backlash is not one of those.
